Magic Mama Herbal Potion
Organically grown, Motherwort with Wildcrafted Western Vervain, St. John’s Wort, and Milk Thistle, in Organic Vodka.
A gentle yet powerful blend of herbs to improve mental and emotional wellbeing and to keep Mama’s Milk flowing! Can be taken directly from dropper or diluted in hot tea or honey water to evaporate alcohol if desired. Please note, the amount of alcohol consumed in each dose is approximately 1 ml.. a very tiny amount in other words, perfectly fine for mama & baby.
Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca,) “the lion hearted one” is treasured for its ability to heal & protect the heart (emotional & physically,) relieve anxiety/depression, and support lactation~ hence the name, Motherwort.
Milk Thistle - Silybum Marianum-has long been used to support new mommas, balance hormones & keep steady milk supply,
St. John’s Wort- Hypericum perforatum -is a sunny, happy herb, used to treat mild anxiety & depression, and for gentle, non addictive pain relief. In small amounts, as in this formula, it is safe & effective for mama & baby. Studies have shown even in large doses only a tiny amount shows up in breast milk, and this blend has a small amount.
Western Vervain- Verbena lasiostachys- A beautiful wild herb that has become my favorite for mood enhancement. Just a few drops helps me to relax, feel balanced, cool calm & collected. It’s particularly wonderful for “type A” personalities who feel the need to be in control all the time. It’s long been used to help PPD and also happens to support lactation.
